About us

We are Beautiful Stars cattery of Siamese and Oriental cats. Our location is in Belgrade, Serbia. We support responsible breeding, one litter a year, healthy kittens which grow up warmth of our home. We have one male (Simba) and two females (Nala & Cici). All cats live with us in the house.

We careffuly choose the future owners of our kittens with the desire to find good people and a good home for our kittens. Beautiful Stars kittens are everywhere in the world: Austria, Netherlands, USA, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia...

We are one of the most successful catteries in Serbia and in the region. We are the first and only ones who have TICA international winners in Serbia. Our cat Simba was also the best Siamese cat in the world.

From our breeding (litter 2017), one kitten has become an international winner, and another is on track to achieve the same success (Litter 2018). This is proof that we have the perfect cats that fully satisfy the world's highest breed standards.

We are expecting a third litter soon. Will be available for the new home from April 5, 2020.

Siamese cats

“We are Siamese if you please. We are Siamese if you don’t please.” Those lines, sung by two haughty Siamese cats in Disney’s Lady and the Tramp, express the Siamese personality perfectly.

Perhaps the most important thing to know about these cats is they are talkative and opinionated. They will tell you exactly what they think, in a loud, raspy voice, and they expect you to pay attention and act on their advice. Siamese cats are extremely fond of their people. They like to be “helpful” and will follow you around and supervise your every move. When you are sitting down, a Siamese will be in your lap, and at night he will be in bed with you, probably under the covers with his head on the pillow.

Do not get a Siamese if living with a chatty busybody would drive you insane. On the other hand, if you enjoy having someone to talk to throughout the day, the Siamese can be your best friend. Just be sure you have time to spend with this demanding and social cat. Siamese do not like being left alone for long periods, and if you work during the day it can be smart to get two of them so they can keep each other company.

The Siamese is highly intelligent, agile, athletic, and loves to play. Keep his busy brain active with puzzle toys and his body exercised with teaser toys he can chase and a big cat tree he can climb. Never leave him without any form of entertainment, or you will likely come home to find that he has reprogrammed your DVR to record only nature shows or at the very least decided your toilet paper rolls and tissue boxes look better empty.

Choose a Siamese cat if you look forward to spending time with and interacting with your cat. This is a loyal and loving feline who will pout and pine if given little or no attention. In the right home, however, he thrives for years.

Siamese Traits

The Siamese, like the other breeds in its group, is a long elegant cat that is defined by extremes - long tubular body, long well-angulated legs, long tapering tail, long triangular head, huge triangular ears. Nothing about the Siamese is round. It is angular in every way. In contrast with all of the long physical features, its coat is very short, glossy and sleek, and lies close to the body with a very fine texture.

One of the most striking features of the Siamese is its medium-large expressive almond eyes in a deep rich blue color. Eyes set in an oriental slant are like no other breed of cat (outside of the breed group). Eyes create the expression that says "Siamese". The almond shape gives the "oriental" appearance to the face. Together with the ears, the eyes create the unique look or "essence" of the breed.

The contrast between the point color - the color of the ears, mask, legs and tail - and the paler body color makes for a very striking and attention-getting pattern. Together with the long tapering lines, svelte and lithe body, solid weight without bulk and refined boning, the Siamese is a work of art, distinct from all other breeds of cats.

Siamese and Thai Differences

These two breeds have the different structure of a body:

Siamese cats remind classical oriyental. At them harmonious, slightly extended form a trunk with thin, long paws, a-headed wedge-shaped form, large ears.

The Thai breed is distinguished by more powerful trunk of rounded shape, quite thick paws of average length, shorter and fat tail. The head of such cats is similar to apple, and small ears are a little wrapped on the ends.
